I like the contrast of the anchored boats offset by the motion of the foreground vessel. I wanted to keep all the boats somewhat silhouetted. The dinghy also is in contrast to the foreground boat.

In reality, the sea and sky almost blended together seamlessly. Here one can see the oil rigs in the distance. I could have removed them, but they are a part of the California coast, and there are three of them nicely placed!
